These terms cover buying from Duncan’s 3D Print Shop. Placing an order means you accept them. They’re written plainly on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email duncan@homewiseautomations.com and ask before you buy.
Who you’re buying from
Duncan’s 3D Print Shop is a small business operating from Lafayette, Colorado, United States. Every clip is printed and assembled by hand in small batches.
Orders
Adding an item to your cart doesn’t reserve it. Your order is accepted when I email you an order confirmation — not when you click pay.
I may decline or cancel an order, refunding you in full, if:
- the item turns out to be unavailable despite the stock count
- a price or description was obviously wrong
- I can’t deliver to your address
- the order looks fraudulent
Stock figures on this site are the real number on the shelf and are updated as orders come in. In the rare case two people buy the last one at the same moment, whoever completes payment first gets it, and the other is refunded in full straight away.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is charged separately and shown before you pay, so you always see the full total first.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch this site. Your order isn’t confirmed until payment clears.
Prices can change at any time, but never after you’ve placed an order.
Shipping
Orders ship from Lafayette, Colorado via USPS, at a flat rate per order regardless of how many clips you buy. I currently ship within the United States only.
Delivery estimates are estimates. I control how fast I get to the post office; I don’t control USPS. Once a parcel is handed over, its progress is out of my hands — though if it goes missing, see the Refund and Returns Policy, because that’s my problem to fix, not yours.
Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, tell me and I’ll sort it out.
Local pickup
Choosing Local Pickup at checkout waives the shipping charge. The pickup address and arrangements are sent to you after your order is paid, not published on this site.
Please collect within 14 days of your confirmation email. If you can’t, just let me know and we’ll work something out — I won’t cancel an order without contacting you first.
The product
These are 3D-printed items made in small batches. Expect the character that comes with that: slight variation in layer texture and colour between production runs is normal and isn’t a defect. Photographs are accurate, but screens vary in how they render colour.
Measurements are approximate and given to the nearest quarter inch.
Using them sensibly
These are hair accessories. They’re not toys, not safety equipment, and shouldn’t be given to small children — the spring can pinch. Keep them away from sustained heat, such as a closed car in summer, since printed plastic softens.
If something goes wrong
Your statutory rights as a consumer aren’t affected by anything on this page.
Beyond that, my liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, including shipping. I’m not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — those can’t be excluded and I’m not trying to.

Accounts
You don’t need an account to buy. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell me if you think someone else has it. I can close accounts that are used abusively.
Content on this site
The designs, photographs, and text here are mine. Buying a clip doesn’t transfer any rights to the design, and the clips are sold for personal use rather than resale or reproduction.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order, so changes never apply retroactively.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
