This policy explains what Duncan’s 3D Print Shop collects when you visit or buy from this site, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The short version
I collect what I need to send you a hair clip and nothing else. I never see your card number. I don’t sell your data, and I don’t run advertising trackers.
What I collect
When you place an order
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your billing and shipping addresses
- What you ordered, and the colour and quantity
- Whether you chose delivery or local pickup
When you pay
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are never stored on, or passed through, this website. I can see the last four digits, the card brand, and whether the payment succeeded — nothing more.
Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy.
When you browse
The site sets cookies to remember what is in your cart and to keep you signed in if you create an account. These are necessary for the shop to work and are deleted when they expire or when you clear your browser. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
My web server keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Who else sees it
Only the parties needed to complete your order:
- Stripe — to process the payment
- USPS — your name and shipping address, printed on the label
- My hosting provider — which stores the site and its database on my behalf
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes — generally seven years. Cart and session cookies expire within days. If you create an account, it stays until you ask me to delete it.
Your rights
Under the Colorado Privacy Act and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask me to:
- Tell you what personal data I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, where I am not required to keep it for tax purposes
- Send you a copy in a portable format
Email duncan@homewiseautomations.com and I will respond within 45 days, usually much sooner. I may need to confirm your identity first so I don’t hand your order history to somebody else.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and card data never reaches my server. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, I will tell you promptly and directly.
Children
This shop is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, I will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, note it on the shop’s front page.
